Thank you very much indeed for your excellent work on our sitting room. We have been completely delighted with the results you have achieved, your ability to create a style which is totally in tune with our tastes and the practical uses of the room, and your incredible attention to detail.

Many of the components of the room you created are things that we might have overlooked had we attempted to decorate on our own, and they bring so much to the finished room that it is difficult now to think how it could have looked complete without them. As well as the wonderful detail and sophistication of your designs and suggestions, we are extremely grateful for the way in which you assisted us when it came to managing the work that was required - you chose wonderful, reliable workers who not only did a fabulous job, but were also entirely trustworthy in using our keys and looking after the empty house while we were at work. Your tact in working with our working schedules and your skill in co-ordinating the work is greatly appreciated.

We have had no hesitation in recommending you to friends and colleagues and we hope very much that we might work with you again ourselves.

I am delighted to say how much I enjoyed working with you on some of the Church Commissioners’ properties at Hyde Park Gardens, the four entrance lobbies at The Quadrangle, Cambridge Square and their neighbours Castleacre and Southacre, the luxury blocks in Hyde Park Crescent . All these design schemes were a great success and the results much enjoyed by the residents.

I am very happy with the work done and have been impressed with every aspect of the job, from the initial discussion, through the planning and sourcing, to the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail. I think your greatest gift was in listening to me so attentively and gradually giving form and content to my sometimes inchoate thoughts.

....You never attempted to impose your views on me nor use your greater knowledge and authority to "bully" me into a particular decision. Instead, you managed to tease out of me my own preferences and I was touched by the extent to which you really cared that I should be pleased with a particular result, however much you liked it yourself.

....The whole project felt like a true collaboration, a kind of happy synthesis of my ideas and your ideas. As a consequence, I feel a sense of pride and "ownership" in the final result despite the fact that I could not possibly have achieved it on my own.

Commencing in January 2002, Key Interiors was engaged for a renovation project encompassing a refurbishment of one entire floor of our flat including a new kitchen, all the lighting, floor coverings, window dressings, a "home office wall", balustrade and furniture. There were also substantial improvements in other areas of the flat including tiling, carpets, window dressings and furniture. Karin Verzariu managed all aspects of the design and building works over the period of the contract including sourcing all materials, decorations, fixtures, appliances and furniture.

From the outset, we established an excellent working relationship with Karin. She did not have preconceived ideas about what should be done but instead identified our needs and then formed her designs around them. She was flexible and responsive to our feedback without letting the design concepts get lost in the process. From a practical point of view, she was always very considerate of our busy family and work schedules and willing to plan around them. On the financial side, she respected our budgets and proposed suitable alternatives, while also guiding us on the best places to splurge and where to save.

The onsite building process went very smoothly. Key Interiors supplied a detailed plan for the scheduled works and Karin did everything possible to make sure it was completed on time. With very few exceptions, the contractors provided top calibre craftsmanship and reliable services. All the work was thoroughly checked and Karin followed up until everything was perfect down to the smallest detail.

We are very pleased with the final results of the project. Aesthetically, the flat has many beautiful and innovative aspects that we love. At the same time, we are now making optimal use of the space so that our growing family can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle within the constraints of a central London location. We would not hesitate to recommend Key Interiors or to engage Karin again in the future should the opportunity arise.
